Day 7 [25th Nov]: Shanghai and back to SG

For the last day of our China trip, we went to Nanjing Road in the morning to have our breakfast and walk around. We settled for our brunch in 南翔馒头店 and ordered some other dimsum dishes that we did not try the day before. The 大馄饨 sure tasted fantastic and so is the chicken served in wine sauce.

We strolled around the shopping district for some time before heading to 大世界. Unfortunately, we did not manage to find 大世界 but we managed to take some photos of nice buildings in the area.

From 大世界, we took the subway to Nanjing East station and walked towards The Bund. We spent quite a bit of time taking photos in the area and admiring the old European-influenced buildings before making our way to Oriental Pearl Tower via subway.

Our visit to Oriental Pearl Tower took quite a bit of time as we visited several different levels to take photos and also braving the cold wind.

We rushed back to the hotel next to collect our luggage and took the subway to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. After collecting our train tickets, we took a quick dinner in a Taiwanese restaurant before taking the bullet train to Hangzhou East Railway Station.

From the railway station, we took a taxi to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport for our Jetstar flight back to Singapore.
