We started day 3 by visiting Madame Tussauds in Siam Discovery Center. It seems that they have a lot of props for photo moments over in this place compared to their counterpart in Hong Kong.
Next, we went over to MBK Center for some shopping before heading to the pier to take a boat to Wat Saket.
From Wat Saket, we took a tuk-tuk to go to Wat Intharawihan.
Next, we went to Rama 8 Pier to take a boat along the Chao Praya River to go over to Tha Thien Pier where we can get a good view of Wat Arun. We took a break in a restaurant and had mango with sticky rice and drinks while waiting for sunset.
After getting some pretty shots of Wat Arun, we headed to Asiatique upon recommendation by our taxi driver. This place seems to be pretty new at just about 1 year old and is just next to Chao Praya River. It is a collection of many shops, restaurants, cabaret and Muay Thai performance. We had our dinner in one of the small eateries serving Thai food, walked around for a while before taking the boat to the nearest BTS station and taking the BTS back to the hotel.
For our final day, we headed to Platinum Fashion Mall and spent most of our morning and afternoon there, having our brunch in the food court and also doing some shopping. We even went to the A&W outlet in nearby Pantip Plaza for some light finger food and root beer float before taking the taxi back to hotel to collect our backpacks. From the hotel, we took the BTS and the City Link to the airport for our night flight back to Singapore. We also managed to grab our dinner in the airport before our flight.
